Large flow Sewage Lifting Device pump installation and excellent performance

May 01, 2025

Large flow Sewage Lifting Device is usually equipped with two high-performance pumps. This ingenious design has dual significance. On the one hand, it can achieve efficient drainage. In actual operation, the flow of sewage changes as complex and changeable as the rise and fall of the tide. When the sewage flow is large, the two pumps can be started at the same time to form a strong drainage force, greatly improve the drainage efficiency, quickly handle a large amount of sewage, and effectively avoid sewage accumulation and blockage. For example, in an emergency when a large amount of rainwater and street debris are quickly gathered in a city, the dual pumps operate at the same time, which can quickly discharge the accumulated water, effectively reduce the probability of urban waterlogging, and ensure the smoothness of urban traffic and the safety of life and property of residents. When one pump fails, the other pump can automatically start and continue to undertake the task of sewage lifting to ensure the continuous operation of the equipment. The failure of a pump will not cause the entire drainage system to be paralyzed, which greatly improves the stability and reliability of the equipment operation. The installation position and method of the pump are carefully designed. The core goal is to ensure that the pump can stably suck in sewage and lift it to the specified height during operation. This process requires comprehensive consideration of the flow characteristics of sewage, the overall layout of the equipment, and the surrounding environmental factors, just like planning the best running route and posture for a long-distance runner so that the pump can perform at its best when working.
The first step in the installation work is to accurately level the foundation of the pump. This is a job that requires a high degree of patience and precise operation. Workers will use professional tools such as spirit levels to carefully measure various parts of the foundation to ensure that the foundation level meets the requirements. This is like building a high-rise building. Only when the foundation is flat and solid can the subsequent construction work proceed smoothly. The foundation of the pump is the "foundation" for its stable operation. If the foundation is not flat, the pump will shake during operation, which will not only affect the normal operation of the pump, but may also cause equipment damage and shorten the service life of the equipment.
After the foundation is leveled, the pump will be hoisted to the foundation. This is not a simple hoisting job, requiring professional lifting equipment and experienced operators. During the lifting process, the operator must concentrate to ensure that the water pump falls smoothly and accurately on the foundation. This process is like carefully placing a precision instrument in a designated position. The slightest carelessness may cause damage to the equipment. Before lifting, the operator will conduct a comprehensive inspection of the lifting equipment to ensure its good performance; during lifting, the lifting point will be reasonably selected according to the center of gravity and shape of the water pump to prevent the equipment from tilting or deforming during the lifting process. The water pump is fixed with anchor bolts. The tightening of the bolts should not be underestimated. The operator must operate according to the specified torque value and use a professional torque wrench to ensure that each bolt is tightened to the right degree. If the torque is too small, the water pump is not firmly fixed and is easy to loosen during operation; if the torque is too large, the bolts or the water pump base may be damaged. Only by ensuring that the water pump is firmly installed can it remain stable and continue to operate efficiently in subsequent high-intensity work. In actual installation, secondary grouting is sometimes used to further enhance the stability of the water pump foundation, so that the water pump is closely combined with the foundation, as stable as a tree root rooted in the earth.
After the water pump is fixed, the water inlet and outlet pipes of the water pump must be connected. This process requires that the pipes are tightly connected and there must be no leakage. When connecting the water pipes, the workers will carefully apply sealing materials at the interface, and then use special tools to connect the pipes firmly. This is like connecting the blood vessels of the human body. The blood vessels must be unobstructed and tightly connected to ensure the normal circulation of blood. For the water inlet and outlet pipes of the water pump, only by connecting tightly can the sewage flow smoothly in the pipes without leakage, affecting the operating efficiency of the equipment, and even polluting the surrounding environment. Before connecting the pipes, the workers will also clean the pipes to remove internal impurities and rust to ensure the smooth flow of sewage. At the same time, according to the characteristics of the sewage, choose suitable pipes, such as corrosion-resistant stainless steel pipes or anti-aging plastic pipes, to adapt to different working environments.
At the same time, it is also very important to install the sealing device of the water pump. Sewage contains various impurities and corrosive substances. If sewage leaks into other components such as motors, it will cause serious damage to the equipment. The sealing device is like putting a layer of "protective clothing" on the water pump, effectively preventing sewage leakage. When installing the sealing device, workers will strictly follow the installation standards to ensure good sealing performance. They will carefully check the quality of the seal to ensure that it is not damaged or defective, and is correctly installed in the corresponding position to ensure that during the operation of the pump, the sewage is firmly restricted to flow in the specified channel and will not cause damage to other components. For some special working conditions, such as high temperature, high pressure or highly corrosive environment, special sealing technologies and materials, such as mechanical seals and magnetic seals, will also be used to further improve the sealing effect and extend the service life of the equipment.
After the installation of the pump is completed, comprehensive debugging is required. The debugging personnel will first conduct a no-load test run on the pump to check the operation of the pump, including the speed, vibration amplitude, noise level of the motor, etc. If any abnormality is found, it will be adjusted and repaired in time. After the no-load test run is normal, load debugging will be carried out to simulate the actual sewage lifting conditions, observe the working status of the pump under different flow rates and lifts, and detect whether the flow rate and lift of the pump meet the design requirements, whether the sealing of the equipment is good, and whether there are safety hazards such as leakage and leakage. At the same time, the intelligent control system of the equipment is fully tested to ensure that the switching logic between the two pumps is accurate and the liquid level detection and alarm functions are sensitive and reliable. Only after strict debugging and confirmation that all performance indicators of the equipment meet the requirements can the large-flow sewage dual-pump lifting equipment be officially put into use.
During the long-term operation of the equipment, the installation quality of the water pump has a profound impact on the maintenance cost and service life of the equipment. Accurately installed and stable water pumps will have relatively less wear and failure during operation, and have a longer maintenance cycle, which can save users a lot of maintenance costs and time costs. High-quality sealing devices and pipe connections can also effectively reduce the environmental risks and equipment damage risks caused by sewage leakage, and ensure the sustainable operation of the equipment.
The installation of water pumps in large-flow sewage dual-pump lifting equipment, from foundation leveling, water pump hoisting and fixing, inlet and outlet water pipes connected to the installation of sealing devices, and then to the final debugging work, each step is closely connected and indispensable. Only when every link is accurate and correct can we ensure the efficient and stable operation of the water pump, and let the entire large-flow sewage double pump lifting equipment play its due powerful function, continue to contribute to the field of sewage treatment and discharge, protect our urban environment, and ensure the normal operation of production and life.
