Pumping Mechanism and Sealing Integrity
Pneumatic Diaphragm Pumps are positive displacement pumps driven by compressed air, eliminating the need for complex seals and glands. Fluid is moved by the reciprocal action of flexible diaphragms, actuated by compressed air alternating between two chambers. This mechanism creates a hermetically sealed path, making these pumps suitable for transferring volatile, corrosive, or viscous fluids where zero leakage is mandatory.
The absence of internal rotating parts in contact with the fluid allows them to handle liquids containing high percentages of solids or abrasive slurries without the wear issues common in centrifugal pumps. They are inherently safe for hazardous or explosive environments due to the use of compressed air as the power source.

Application Fields
- Transfer and dosing of highly corrosive chemicals (acids, bases) in industrial processes.
- Pumping of viscous paints, coatings, and solvents in manufacturing.
- Handling abrasive ceramic slurries and mining tailings where wear is a concern.
- Used as portable transfer pumps for spill cleanup and emergency drainage due to their dry-running capability.
- Filling and transferring food-grade liquids and pharmaceuticals (sanitary options).
Engineering and Custom Fabrication
Our focus is on selecting diaphragms and valve balls with optimized chemical compatibility and flex life, maximizing the operational time between diaphragm replacements.
Customization Scope: We offer dual-inlet/outlet configurations, specialized coatings for exterior protection in harsh environments, and certification documentation (e.g., FDA/USP Class VI for pharmaceutical/food contact materials) based on client requirements.
We also provide pre-packaged air management systems, including regulators, filters, and lubricators, matched to the pump for optimal air consumption and performance.
